Freaky Font Generator
Freaky text works on a simple trick: every character you see is still an ordinary letter, just one from a Unicode block that looks wrong. Some styles replace the letterforms outright, others stack combining marks on top of them until the word dissolves into noise. Both paste anywhere text goes.
The styles below run from mildly off to genuinely unreadable. Fraktur and Double Struck sit at the readable end and work well for usernames and profile names. Cursed and Zalgo sit at the other end — they pile accents above, below and through each letter, and past a certain intensity nobody can read the result at all.
That last point is the one worth deciding on before you paste. Freaky text is a look, and a look that makes your name impossible to type in a mention or search for in a member list costs you more than it gains. Use the heavier styles for a bio line or a channel topic, and keep the readable ones for anything people need to find you by.

Fraktur and Double Struck are decorative but readable. Upside Down and Reversed scramble the order without destroying the shapes. Cursed and Zalgo are the heavy end — check that the result is still legible enough for where you plan to put it.

Frequently asked questions
What is freaky text?
Text written with Unicode characters that look unsettling rather than plain. Two techniques produce it: swapping each letter for a decorative variant from another Unicode block, or attaching stacks of combining accent marks to ordinary letters until the shapes break down into noise.
Is freaky text readable by screen readers?
Partly, and it depends on the style. Decorative letterforms such as Fraktur are usually announced as the letters themselves. Stacked combining marks are announced individually, so a Zalgo word can turn into a long stream of accent names. Never rely on it for anything important.
Will freaky text get me banned?
Not on its own. These are standard Unicode characters and no major platform prohibits them. What does get action taken is using them to impersonate someone or to evade a filter, and very heavy Zalgo can be treated as spam in some communities.
Why does my freaky text look different on my phone?
Combining marks are positioned by the font, and fonts differ between platforms. A stack that renders tightly on Windows may spread out on iOS or overlap on Android. Check the heavy styles on the device your audience actually uses.
Can I make freaky text without a generator?
You can, but it is tedious. Combining marks have to be inserted one at a time after each letter, and the useful decorative blocks have gaps that are easy to get wrong — script and Fraktur both have letters that live in a different block entirely.
